Privacy Policy

This policy explains how David Crane ("I", "me") handles information collected through davidcraneceo.com. I run a small consulting and training practice based in Las Vegas, Nevada. I collect only what I need to reply to you and deliver what you ask for, and I never sell your information.
Information I collect
- Forms you submit: the discovery call, call request, scorecard report and newsletter forms collect what you enter, such as your name, email, company, role, interest, preferred times, package selections, scorecard answers and any message.
- Email and phone: if you email or call me, I receive your contact details and what you send.
- Technical data: my hosting provider processes standard request data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver and secure the site.
How I use it
- To reply to you, schedule calls, prepare quotes and deliver services or playbooks you request.
- To send the newsletter if you sign up. Every email lets you unsubscribe; you can also reply "unsubscribe".
- To keep the site working and protect it from spam and abuse.
Service providers
- Netlify hosts this site and receives form submissions on my behalf.
- Calendly handles scheduling if you book through my calendar.
- Gumroad processes playbook purchases and payments. I do not see or store your card details.
- Email: I reply and send the newsletter from my email account and may use an email service provider to send it.
These providers process information under their own privacy policies. I share information with them only to run the site and my practice, or when required by law.
What I don't do
I do not sell or rent your personal information, and I do not use it for third-party advertising.
Embedded videos
The home page shows Asana tutorial videos hosted on YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com (privacy-enhanced mode), and YouTube, a Google service, may collect information such as your IP address and viewing activity under the Google Privacy Policy.
Cookies
This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. If you use the embedded calendar, play a YouTube video or use the Gumroad checkout, those services may set their own cookies, as described in their policies.
Retention and your choices
I keep your information only as long as needed for the purpose you gave it, or as required for business records. You can ask me to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing davidcranelv@gmail.com.
Security
I use reputable providers and reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16.
Changes
If I update this policy, I will post the new version here with a new effective date.
