Asana adoption: tools don't change teams, habits do

I've watched great software die in teams that never changed how they work. Adoption is a leadership project.

  1. Start with one workflow that hurts. Pick the launch, the intake process or the weekly report everyone hates. Build it in Asana with clear owners, due dates and rules, and show the time saved.
  2. Set the operating rhythm. One source of truth: if it isn't in Asana, it isn't happening. Status updates replace status meetings. Portfolios and goals connect daily tasks to company goals.
  3. Train champions, then scale. Name a champion on every team, publish templates, and check adoption weekly. Expand only after the first workflow sticks.

The rule: leaders work in the tool first. Teams follow what leaders actually do.
